My UX Journey
Originally hailing from Williamsburg, Virginia, my passion has always revolved around the creative process in its various forms: design, music, storytelling, etc. Prior to the widespread recognition of UX design as a popular career and studied subject, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media, Arts, and Design. This academic path offered me valuable insights into the multifaceted nature of the design world.
However, it wasn’t until I made the bold decision to relocate to Buenos Aires that my journey towards becoming a full-time designer really took off. After a couple of years of traveling and settling into my new life, I eventually landed a position as a Project Manager at a web development agency.

As a Project Manager, I had the opportunity to oversee UX calls with a 3rd-Party consultant, and this aspect quickly became my favorite part of the web design process. Motivated by this newfound passion, I independently pursued UX classes, closely monitored trends and best practices, and absorbed everything I could about UX design. Eventually, the agency opened an internal UX department, and recognizing my interest and individual application to it, they gave me the opportunity to transition and officially embrace the role of a UX designer.
From that point forward, I have played a pivotal role in creating and solidifying the department and continued demonstrating initiative in advancing my enthusiasm and dedication to UX. What I love most about being a UX designer is the role of a ‘tech architect,’ meticulously fitting together the psychological, emotional, functional, and aesthetic elements that form the intricate puzzle of constructing a website, software platform, or app. However, the most rewarding aspect is knowing that my designs contribute to making someone’s life a bit easier and better along the way.
And when I’m not puzzling away at finding design solutions…
I’m riding horses –
As a little girl, I was crazy about horses but never had the opportunity to learn how to ride. Over the last few years I’ve had the privilege to explore this childhood dream and make it a real hobby. I now even participate in jumping competitions!

I’m in the mountains hiking –
I’ve always loved the outdoors but during college I discovered the magic of hiking and camping. I now am lucky enough to live a short flight away from Patagonia and visit as often as I can throughout the year.

I’m listening to new music or reading a good book –
If i’m not trying to catch a live show in the city, you’ll find me in bed early reading. Here are a couple of my recent listening and reading faves:
